This is your opportunity to work in a smaller group and help create some real highlight moments for our concert on Sunday 1 November. We’ll bring together beautiful singing, colourful costumes and some special performance touches to add another layer of impact to the show.

Dos Oruguitas — “Two Caterpillars”
This beautiful song from Encanto will give us a tender, moving moment within the concert. With its gentle storytelling and gorgeous harmonies, I can imagine this becoming something really special: a moment of stillness and connection, brought to life through our voices and some thoughtful visual touches.
Rhythm Is Gonna Get You blended with Conga
Then we’ll turn up the energy! This Gloria Estefan combination will bring irresistible rhythms, colour and movement to the stage. It fits beautifully with the joyful, celebratory side of our concert, and we’ll add performance touches to make it as exciting to watch as it is to sing.

“Dos Oruguitas” is such a beautiful choice for our Día de los Muertos concert because it explores love, loss and transformation through the story of two caterpillars becoming butterflies.

It connects so gently with our theme: remembering the people we love, honouring what they leave with us, and finding beauty in the way life continues and changes.

Among all the colour, rhythm and celebration, this gives us a tender, reflective moment. I’d love us to bring that feeling to our performance — warmth, vulnerability and love.

Rhythm Is Gonna Get You / Conga

This blend of two fantastic Gloria Estefan songs will bring a burst of rhythm, colour and celebration to our Día de los Muertos concert. If you love the feel of Get On Your Feet, this is your chance to take that energy even further!

The driving rhythms of Rhythm Is Gonna Get You lead into the infectious excitement of Conga, giving us a brilliant opportunity to build the performance as the music unfolds. Our smaller project group will bring it to life with vibrant costumes, coordinated movement and some theatrical touches—a real visual and musical highlight.

Alongside the tenderness of Dos Oruguitas, this piece gives us the joyful release: a celebration of being alive, being together and letting the music move us.

You’ll learn your vocal parts at home using the tracks available now. At our two rehearsals, we’ll bring the harmonies together and add the staging, movement and finishing touches. You don’t need to be a dancer—just ready to get involved, sing with confidence and enjoy it!
